There's an unerring relationship between
man and woman
mother and child
man and God
each more fickle than the next.
Yet more arbitrary to define is the relationship to the self

So I ask myself, 'what defines me? '

I am a woman...I am a christian...
I am a mother... I am a daughter...
I am a doctor... I am a smoker...
I am a drinker... I am a liar...
I am a victim... I am user...

Am I just a randomised collection of matter existing in time and space?
Existing at all?
