The Desperate Lover Poem by carley jones

The Desperate Lover

After the desperate lover
when the day and the night vowed
when sighed all in vain
the pleasure that is recovered
in my eyes the pain will glide
it slides and cuts me like a knife

the unkindness of our love that stands
both punished ourselves with shear pain
oh, what the touch that had felt fade,
oh, the fade of the touch that we felt.

when the denial turns so loyal
and your eyes show what you deny,
oh, what the pain i hold try not to keep
oh, try not to hold the pain i keep

when, will the day i vow my love to you
and the sparkle in your eyes to stay
oh, how the love will be amazing
oh, for the amazing desperate lover is
