The Donald And Delilah Poem by Donal Mahoney

The Donald And Delilah

Strong man Samson
told Delilah
seven locks of hair
were the secret
of his strength
and Delilah told
the Philistines and
they cut off his locks
gouged his eyes out
made certain Samson
lost his power.

Perhaps The Donald
has his own Delilah
waiting with a scissors.
But if he doesn't
he might find a way
to motivate Monica
to play Delilah in the
life of someone else.
We haven't heard
what Monica has to say.
The locks she cuts
could change everything.
