The Donkey Poem by Gadarowski Michael

The Donkey

A donkey standing
In a field by a fence,
Standing all alone
Without any friends

I see him standing there
Day after day,
As I travel back and forth
Along this way.

I wonder at his power
To stand all alone,
Through the heat of the summer
And the winters cold.

And I’m encouraged
To face the seasons in life
Weather the loneliness,
Go through the strife.

Thank you my friend
Standing there all alone
Without any shelter
Without any home.

How sensitive you are and it shows in this nice poem. Thanks and send a smile toward the donkey from me next time you pass.
