The Doors Poem by Kayla Daley

The Doors

Rating: 0.5

Death is a dark solider
It, some of us, want to surrender
It is the enemy
It knows no mercy
One day it will find us
But let it be on God's terms
And not from our own life concerns
Because someone feels the same pain
And knows how it feels to find no gain
Jesus knows your pain and sin the most
May he be your life's host
No matter what
How ever many doors in life become ever shut
New ones are there to take there place
But you must look They are right in front of your face
These doors of bright light
filled with Happiness Joy and Might
God's gifts sometimes go unnoticed
That is why we must stay on our goals focused
The Goal of a full life
With Endurance of our terrible strife
God cares for all
All those who have at one time fell
He helps us back on our feet again
And wipes away the tears of sin
He is our Father, our loyal friend
Who will call us back on His time at our life's End
