The Dream Is Alive Poem by Jeffrey Stultz

The Dream Is Alive

Three decades ago,
a hardy few,
gathered to start
something new;
In a world full of strife,
they dreamed of a life
where honor and courtesy thrived.

First Chorus:

Deep in their hearts,
was born a dream,
a vision of what life
was meant to be:
where chivalry lives
and courtesy gives,
honor to all,
honor to all.

They struggled at first,
to find a way,
to give birth to the dream
we share today;

They planted a seed,
that by his deeds,
man should be known
a man should be known

Second Chorus:
Deep in our hearts,
the dream is alive,
a vision of that
for which we strive.
where chivalry lives
and courtesy gives
honor to all
honor to all

The seed has grown up
a mighty tree
with strong roots and limbs
in you and me;
let the story be told,
with voices bold:
the dream is alive!
the dream is alive!
the dream is alive!
the dream is alive!
