The Echo Of You
Oh to hear the echo of you
reverberate in my soul
Is enough to keep me happy,
enough to keep me whole.
And who but you can know these things
and keep them in your heart?
Only the cavernous echoes that sing
can serve to play that part.
For no one else can realize
what an echo from the past can do.
It's an over and again sound I hear
that keeps me close to you.
