Easter at the Lincoln Park Zoo.
Human kiddies are hunting eggs.
Full of young excitement, they do
Be a blur of wee arms and legs.
I be a bunny, yes I be
A Flemish giant, biggest kind.
And so the kiddies regard me
The Easter bunny - I don't mind.
Cuz from Europe my kind do hail,
And that was where it all did start
About the Easter bunny tale
With eggs to warm the young of heart.
I do enjoy the Easter day.
But as for eggs - I do not lay.
