The Eloquence Of Silence Poem by Natarajan Ramaseshan

The Eloquence Of Silence

The eloquence of silence
Oh, have you espied?
Its sense lingers on and on
Even when words died.

Does not Mona Lisa's smile
Convey a lot more
Than fluent and empty words
From flippant throat's store?

(I wrote this small poem when I was forced to remain silent due to sore throat and fever)
