The Elusive Smile
I'm trying to find that smile
The one I haven't seen in a while
That smile that I now can only see in dreams
The smile that never came to my screams
It got me through the rough times
It was all I could see sometimes
The smile I saw at your door
The symbol of you I adore
The smile is out there
And I hope everything plays out fair
And all my efforts are worthwhile
So I can once again see your smile
