The End Is Near Poem by Babatunde Aremu

The End Is Near

Rating: 5.0

When you hear the thunder struck
The end is near
When you know people are unlovable
The end is near
When everybody is tribal
The end is near
When you know that the time has come
The end is near
When you hear the heavenly trumpet from heaven
And people dress in white garment
The end is near
So be alert
Drop your black garment
Put on your white garment
Because the end is near

If a 9-years old wrote that, I'd like to read her poem in eight years time. Very lovely, simple and slightly weighty. Do give her my beat wishes and thumbs up.

Awesome. Like father, like daughter. Yes, doom's day is likely to come, because, this world is filled with sinners and dishonest people.A great poet she is! Thanks for sharing.
