Once again ends the year
Once again we are ready to cheer
Once again decide to shed the fear
Of losing the daily war we wage with ourselves
Look at the street dogs! they are fine with themselves
Engrossed in their present reality
Happy they move around the city
To exert their presence
While we feel like to sit on the fence
And await the coming year
Which would offer us the gifts to cheer
When we would be very near with our dear
To express our feelings with the hope of coziness and warmth
We would then celebrate our birth.

The End of the year
Is then a new beginning for us to cheer?
