The End Of Things Poem by Dr John Celes

The End Of Things

Like how the candle-flame starts sputtering,
And light from it grows taller, flickering,
Man’s pride with arrogance seems frightening,
Whenever defeat is sensed that’s gathering!

A dictator’s end takes him by surprise;
No wary man can avoid its onset;
All good and bad things end someday, somehow;
The storm will usher calm despite delay!
