The Enigma Of Tomorrow Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Enigma Of Tomorrow

Rating: 5.0

What you say and do,
May be true today,
But not tomorrow,
We are ever changing creatures,
Like the weather,
Good today, Stormy tomorrow.

Enigma is the right word for this reality. I knew a person once who thought anything someone said was a fixed statement. She held them accountable the next day, and the next, and the next. No flexibility. But to see our behavior, moods, words as enigmatic puts us into a larger context - one open to surprises, changes, different weathers. I feel consoled and understood by this poem.

How wonderfully you see our lives, for today and tomorrow and how beautifully you have described your vision! Spot on! 10/10.
