Suffering for ages,
Tormented by lies,
There was once a kingdom careworn,
Cruelly deprived of both its eyes
Underneath a cliff intact,
Deeply hidden in the woods,
A spiny dragon got attacked,
Put to slumber, and for good
All trees surrendered,
All mountains wept,
Sold out by vendors,
Their flesh still crept
The kingdom, envied by the rest
With golden chalices and shiny towers,
Sent knights in armor out in quest,
Of that old pale witch with mighty powers
The monster clenched its teeth that night,
Eradicating future smiles and happy glances,
All human feelings were out of sight,
They obediently left their streets to the one who dances.
Poverty and misery were as cold as ice,
Hunger and misfortune chased them all,
Not being ready to pay the price,
The kingdom was simply doomed to fall
Year after year it was still the same,
The knights had failed to find the witch,
The horrifying monster used many names,
The poor were dying, those who stole were rich
All young people fled away
With no desire to come back again,
The ancient kingdom had been betrayed,
The monster buried it in muddy rain
