The Facing Poem by Nasra Al Adawi

The Facing

Rating: 5.0

Finding peace within myself
Finding joy within my walls
The truth of me, seem lost in a river
Uneven search to which is my place
How long the earth will take me in
And when Im dead, would the sky hold me still
I keep wondering all these thoughts
Time to come even with myself
Just to be the way I can be
The best I can be, to face the mirror accepting who I am

“The hardest part is to look within ourselves; we fear the truth that we might find inside of us”

I like this poem a lot. Accepting who we are is the first step to happiness. Well done HBH
