The Falcon's Eyes Have Not Seen It Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

The Falcon's Eyes Have Not Seen It

Her uncleanness has defiled her skirts,
His uncleanness has defiled his pants,
And now, my eyes overflows with the rivers of waters;
What is wrong with the society?
Is is just a curse? !
A man cuts a tree from the forest and worships it;
Another man sleeps with his own daughter and impregnates her!
But, if we are worn out today because of footmen,
How then can we compete with horses?
Illegal lust,
Suspended by a miner's rope;
But, the falcon's eyes have not seen it,
Knowing the ways of mankind which is now engulfed with profane.
