The Fear Of Fear Poem by Sarah Apgar

The Fear Of Fear

Rating: 5.0

Fear can grip us in a cruel way,

In times of joy, and in time of sorrow,

Leaving us with the fear of tomorrow,

Is it going away or has it come to stay,

Has it come to hunt us as its prey?

When fear comes close and becomes our foe,

God will be here don’t you know?

Even when it ruins your day,

We must not start to worry and fear,

We must pray and trust,

For God is always here, to wipe away each tear,

We must face our fear, we must!

God will certainly help us, he has made that clear,

Our God is faithful and just!

This is so true. Fear can be crippling if we let it. Well written, a '10! ' Best Wishes, Marilyn
