The Feeling
Do you know the feeling when you've won money from a fruit machine?
The feeling when work finishes on a Friday afternoon.
When you take a sip of that first cup of tea of the day.
It's great! .
Do you know the feeling when someone tells you they love you?
The feeling you used to get as a kid on Christmas day.
When you get offered that job you always wanted.
It's fantastic!
Do you know the feeling when you book tickets for that holiday you always wanted?
The feeling when you're dancing to your favourite song and not caring if anyone's looking.
When you feel proud of a loved one.
Do you know the feeling?
Do you know what makes you happy?
Do you know what makes you smile?
If you do, then sadness is but a tear you brush off your face. A bad dream you wake up from. It's an illness you can cure, a moment of rain before the sun.
Life is a whisper in the wind.
Don't let it blow away without a smile!
Feelings and nothing but feelings of love can moves mountains and mellows the Seven Seas while making the World stand still!
