The First Love Poem by richard belis

The First Love

My first love, what I can remember we met in spring,
So warm and quiet, so breezy and cold at the same time,
My first love was under a tree when I first met her,
Her hair over her ears, her eyes as blue as the sky,
I searched in her eyes for the stars I needed to see,
For once I saw the stars I knew, she was the one,
My first, my first I can love and no other,
Her, she, it what ever I can say she was it,
I saw her smile once and she's still in my head,
Her eyes so blue are like the ocean,
so far but so cold and blue,
She was the one, she was the only one, she was my first love.
