The Five Senses Poem by Tengoku Tenshi

The Five Senses

My eye’s can see

My figure’s can feel

My tongue can taste

My ear’s can hear

My nose can smell

My five senses can show me the true side of this world

My eye’s can see hate, war, and pain

My figure’s can fell the earth breaking into different parts

My tongue can taste the pollution of this world

My ear’s can hear the screams of the helpless and dictators around the world

My nose can smell the stench people bring onto this helpless world

Why won’t some one do something?

Why do we all torture the innocent with our words of hate?

Within time this will all go away

We will all go away, even me

I see darkness forming in, but never light

Can’t you see what words can do to people?

Can’t you feel this world falling apart?

Can’t you smell this stench of evil within people?

Can’t you taste the pollution within the air?

Can’t you hear the cries of children and mothers all around us?

Can’t you?
