The Flesh Game Poem by Snake Blocker

The Flesh Game

You loved my company.
You loved the attention I gave you.
You loved the status of it all.
The parties, my friends, and my emotions.

But the 'Flesh Game' doesn't last forever.
'Sport Sex' only lasts a season.
What will you do when it's over?
What will fill that void?

And I was a fool...I was hypnotized by love.
You spoke with the tongues of angels.
And I believed you...I believed you!
...Passion collided...what a train wreck.

The wild abandoned side of me awoke!
Lost in emotions I played along.
I was hooked on you.
And you were hooked on methamphetamines.

Haphazardly I awoke.
I felt like a moon-calf...I felt like an idiot.
And you can't go backwards.
It's too late now.

I should have thought about it before I invited you in...
Before we kissed...
Before I gave you my heart...
Before I played the 'Flesh Game.'

You were a PRO at this...'Sport Sex.'
You were a professional killer...
You killed my heart.
You took my pride.

After seeing you after all this time I have one more question.
Don't deny me.
Do you want to play again?
This time...winner takes all!
