The Flower Poem by april spinelli

The Flower

Life is like a fading flower
It looks so beautiful
It grows so freely
As time passes
The flower gets cold
The flower starts to die
The petals fall
It crumbles apart
There is nothing left
Just a hole where something beautiful once lived

An insightful analogy drawn between life and flower. Well conceived and elegantly penned in persuasive poetic expressions with conviction. A fine and lofty verse, April. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.
