I am only a fool
Trying to catch a dream
I danced into a nightmare
Awakened by my screams

As sure as the stars are in the sky
And with the ground beneath my feet
I gave it one more try
But only to catch defeat

I thought what a fool I am
Chasing after a dream
Then stumbled upon a fairytale
To find things aren't what they seem

Then I saw a shooting star
I made a wish to you, from me
I guess it never got that far
For I am still a fool
