The Forgiving Boss Poem by Ragy Sandid

The Forgiving Boss

He forgives only
When it is convenient
All the while
Telling how lenient

He really is

You hear his voice
on the phone, soft n mellow
The other side thinking
What a wonderful fellow

He really is

He hangs up and looks at you
With those piercing eyes
A Jekyll turns to Hyde
Without compromise

That's what he really is

But he claims innocence
That he's a pawn
A game twisted in so many hands
And he's all alone

He really is

But his time has come to choose
Pity be the choice be you or him
He knows there's no way he can lose
So the choice becomes pretty dim

That's what it is
