The Future Can Be Better One Can Only Live In Hope Poem by Francis Duggan

The Future Can Be Better One Can Only Live In Hope

Rating: 0.5

I know where i was born at but i don't know where I'll die
And if i told you i cared then that would be a lie
For the dead past all feeling they have had their day
Live for as long as you can as a wise one did say,
You may as well enjoy life you will be forever dead
And it will not matter to you then if good or bad of you is said
You may be down on your luck and of hope live in despair
But you have been through hard times before and you have hung in there
Those like you who struggle on against the odds to say the least not rare
And thousands live in poverty for every millionaire
Compared to you i am lucky your hard times than mine far more tough
And you too will hang in there you are made of stern stuff,
We struggle through the hard times and we manage for to cope
And the future can be better one can only live in hope.
