The Future Rubbish Poem by Thistle Wargul

The Future Rubbish

Slowly covered by the sea,
Out of sight from you and me,
Fighting over land submerged,
People who’ll be surely purged.

Chopped down into paper waste,
No trees; just an empty space,
All other species are extinct;
The tiger, squirrel and the mink.

Now we’ve gone and told you all,
Stop it from happening at all,
Recycle rubbish, don’t pollute,
Keep all arguments at mute!
