The Game Of Silence Poem by Peter Karweru

The Game Of Silence

Rating: 4.2

Its three days since the game started,
But it feels forever unlike i anticipated,
Upon the imposed distance we have adjusted,
But a sense of touch is why this i jolt,
I miss to hear your voice,
Just to listen to your laughter,
That leaves me mesmerizing only after,
When my day is dull you always make it lighter,
And when my lamp is shutting you always make it bright,
With your smile that lacks plight,
But only being 'the lady' you are proud,
That brings openly your credentials onto the ground,
Ooh! i just remembered your sound,
The way each time you giggle on the background,
Leaves me only melting to the ground,
Its so strong that by which we are bound,
So true that my heart speaks as it pounds,
And as it produces rhythmical melodious sounds,
The void air spaces are filled by God,
Who has instituted this love which is bold,
Only now for old friends i realize that old is gold.

It is an honor to have you identify with the words and experience of this writer. Love is pure ecstasy that flows within and from us to that another person. Even when the ambience is sad, expressing the feeling makes me glad. thank you for sharing you poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON, great piece check my review on it.
