The Ganges Of The Mount Kailash Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

The Ganges Of The Mount Kailash

Rating: 5.0

Sanitize the waters of the Ganges
which tumbles down the hills
of the Great Himalayas
to inundate the plains and wash away
the human rubbish and the waspish tongues,
the lice thriving bodies of the nude Sanyasis
who wash their loin clothes once in a bluemoon
all along its winding course
from Gangotri to Kolkatta.
Don't pollute the statue of St.Thiruvalluvar
by erecting it on the banks of Ganges
where the untouchable, dirty monks called 'Sadhus'
are smoking Ganja and rolling on the bed of lust.
