The Ghost Of Crystal Lake Poem by Jean Dament

The Ghost Of Crystal Lake

Rating: 5.0

Crystal Lake appears quite peaceful & serene,
So soothing to view much like a vivid dream,
But something eerie dwells there blending in with all it's charm;
And once you experience it...you'll wonder what made you feel this unsafe from harm,
The image can only be seen with the pale moon's light,
So if per chance you come across this ghostly sight,
Try to stay clam & remain;
As you just might be surprised at what there is to gain,
For when this mystcal vision begins to dance upon the lake,
She'll cast her spell on you..while you feel uneasy like your very life's at stake,
She methodically spins & sways across the water with such passion,
Suddenly causing your fears to dissapate; & you're then filled with much compassion,
For this sad creature who'll soon fade & disappear,
Just as quickly as when she first did appear,
They say a young person drowned here years ago;
And today you can attest to seeing her ghostly shadow
Resting under Crystal Lake below.
