The Gift Poem by Gene Simia

The Gift

Rating: 5.0

The Spirit of Christmas
In what we believe,
God's gift to the world
Through Christ we receive.

His birth in the world
Though centuries old,
Still renews and transforms
Many lives untold.

He lived and he died, no tomb could contain
The resurrection power within his earthly plane.
All creation cries out, Let us all rejoice!
In Gods Heavenly Gift,
His Eternal Choice.

Lovely portrayal of the essence of Xmas - a day that commemorates the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, elegantly penned in beautiful diction with spiritual insight. Awesome! Thanks for sharing and do remain blessed. Please do have a look at my poem COLOSSAL MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE (i.e. the execution of Christ) .
