The God Of Hurdles, Vinayaka

THE GOD OF HURDLES
Lord Vinayaka is called the god of hurdles
Unless we worship him he creates problems
Today the Hindus perform puja to him with devotion
Other wise we have to face a lot of commotion

We wake up early in the morning
And purify our bodies with bathing
And wear new clothes and prepare delicious broths
On the wooden square frame we hang different fruits

Vinayaka is fond of dishes made of white floor
We offer the dishes to him with religious flavor
Vinayaka is called the leader of gods
Many stories are told about his glories

Vinayaka has a human body and an elephant’s head
He has a huge belly but a clever head
He is the son of Goddess Parvathi
We hope he blesses us with a lot of empathy
Yours lovingly,
