The Grammar Of Love Poem by Brian David

The Grammar Of Love

The grammar of love
What did I do
today?
What did I do
with you
and without you
and in-between?
What pauses
lengthen thoughts
close down desires?
Now, now I miss you
through those semi-colon moments
and hyphenated hours.....
until the full stop of sleep
hides you
among the adjectives of dreams
