The Grave Yard Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Grave Yard

Rating: 5.0

You walk along for a yard
There may lie barren graveyard
It is not easy but to feel very hard
You will be there for sure once off the guard

You have remained afraid for fear of death
You remained cool with least fear of anybody’s wrath
It was self proclaimed isolation
It has nothing to do with such things or got any relation

You always think of getting peaceful end
No pain, to heart burning and always among friends
Who wants foes or enemies when there is no such need?
You got to be liberated from such views or freed

You try to be kind and you will be blessed with kindness
You pretend to be unreasonable and you will be rewarded with sadness
Everything action has double the reaction and with equal magnitude
You need to have reasonable approach with correct attitude

Not a word may be forgotten if spoken with ire
No one may take it lightly and admire
It may have less impact even if done well to anybody
Let it go unnoticed if well intended for somebody

Think not of a gesture that has gone for common good
Take no note of bad acts if you have done no bad
Think of those things which have been left undone
The satisfaction grown from fruitful work will not be forgotten

Do you need to go to any religious place to offer prayers?
Do you ever feel He is there to serve for you as face savers?
Is it sufficient to chant few hymns and ask favor in return?
Will that save you from all sins committed intentionally in turn?

You are going with some intentions to offer prayer in church
You have hidden wish and urge for honest search
We have neared to the dead end and so desirous to reach
No lessons may do any good even if it is meant to preach

There may be faced many diversions on the road
You may be misguided too while carrying the load
It may be your social responsibility or some compulsion
Even with all the nobility at your disposal you will have confusion

The church, temples or mosques are just unique symbols
They are place for atonement with all worldly desires to keep under control
The environment inside may be holy to alter your views to offer some relief
It will be you only to come out of it with great message and firm belief
