The Graveyard Poem by maria perez

as I walk in front of the gate i notice its darkness
as if it were hiding or seeling a secret
as I go deeper into the graveyard i hear voices calling for
'help' or'welcome'
as i go deeper into the graveyard I see a grave
alone
abandoned
as I look closer it says
'Maria an amazing person who died early, also who will never be forgotten'
but I knew that there lying
she was never amazing
and will be forgotten like if she was just a pet who died
as i lean closer I feel as if something was sucking me in
so I decide to lie done
as I reunite with my body
I feel the darkness of the graveyard
welcoming me
now I am home
