The Great Accolade Poem by Joyce Hemsley

The Great Accolade

Rating: 5.0

The American President
gratefully but humbly accepted
the Nobel Peace Prize
~~two thousand and nine~~
And with generosity of heart
suggested that money awarded
should benefit mankind...
How happy Alfred Nobel would be
to see his last will and testament
working so fine, not only honouring
great people, but aiding a country's
financial security.

Feeble is the mind that contends, 'He dosen't deserve it.' Excellent!
