And lessons from it to be learned every day
Till the Reaper on our lives has the final say
The renowned writers and sages we may celebrate
And honour them with the status of great
Their writings and quotations we may like to recall
But the great book of life the greatest book of all
The great book of life is one of enduring fame
It's author does go as Anonymous by name
It has been around since the birth of the first Human
The book on it that does not have a time span
The World's greatest teacher 'twould be fair to say
From it we do learn something new every day.
