The God I love happens to be a she
Her beauty is in every bush and tree
The Goddess of the World the land and sea
The one not destined for mortality

To be immortal one of her claims to fame
The great Goddess of Nature is her name
The Goddess of the World from shore to shore
She has been forever and will live forever more.

She gives to the land in her life giving Spring showers
The beauty of fruit tree blossoms and wildflowers
Her birds sing for to greet the dawn of day
Yet few revere her and few to her does pray

The Goddess I love is everywhere near me
And her beauty always is a joy to see
Before sunrise in the cool dawn of the day
Her birds sing in the wood across the way.
