I like your assessment that true excellence lies in showing mercy, reminiscent of the Lord, ...'God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. Also unto Thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for Thou renderest to every man according to his work.' Superb admonition, and so reminiscent likewise of what we were taught as children, that anybody can fight, but it takes a big man to stop the fight, ie, show mercy? I quite like this piece of yours!
