The Guardian Poem by S. I. Rednow

The Guardian

There's no guarantee of tomorrow in place
Regardless how much we endeavor
We wake up each day by His patience and grace
We're one breath away from forever

It's beyond our control when called to appear
If today and your life part ways
But when prayers rise into the atmosphere
There are angels assigned to your days
