The Hammeru-Ha Bound Poem by Berhan Mehari

The Hammeru-Ha Bound

Rating: 4.5

The laughs the giggle’s, the hugs and the kisses
The running around and the teases
The care and the share
Make the flammable fence for friends
A flame that can be seen everywhere
People love the color of the flame
And want to come and share the warm
But the flames are untouchable
They burn others out of the circle
A circle built by beautiful and wonderful
Such undeniable hearts
Hearts that have found each other
At the right moment and at the right place
Hearts with different desires
Destinies and life styles
But bounded by such a great feeling of love
Making the Hammeru-Ha

note-Hammeruha is a Geeze alphabet which looks like a fork.

Nicely contrived metaphor of the circle of friendship that both binds and excludes. I like the alliteration of a 'flammable fence for friends' :) Another good poem; keep 'em coming!
