The Hard Move On Poem by mike susak

The Hard Move On

the hard move on

as the rain drops from the sky,
all i can do is dropp to my knees and cry,
with my hands held high
i wish i could fly,
so i could visit you, in the heavens above
remembering how much i was in love
i need you here right here
right here next to me, my dear
the scarring deep,
the mountains steep,
i look to the skies,
every single day,
they say that time heals wounds
but these wounds are so deep
i wont forget you
but i must move on
i grieved for months
i will for years
i see your presence
deep inside me
i can smell you
and you smell so sweet
i need you baby
now and forever
im lost without you
but i must move on
