The moment he was diagnosed
I was there for his daughter
The joy he had in life
Was not all that bad
He had 4 wonderful daughters
And 2 stepsons
He wanted to be there for his girls
He was able to see them start to grow into beautiful woman
But sadly he won't be able to walk
two of his daughters down the aisle on their wedding day
His daughters may have had different mothers
But he loved them all the same
I may not have known him well
But the way his wife and daughters talked about him
I felt like I knew him all my life
When he left to go to heaven
He left everyone sad
He got many people crying that normally wouldn't cry
My friend had seen her father go slowly
And I saw her cry which I never thought I would
But my friend is a strong person
