The Heart Of An Angel

There is kindness
in your bright smile,
the kind that can save
those in deep denial.

You are the type
that can ease the pain,
and, dry the teardrops
that fall with the rain.

The heart of an angel
is deep within you,
you can spread cheer
to those who are blue.

It is hard to find
one who understands,
enough to help others
with their loving hands.

You are thoughtful
of all those in need,
ready and able
to do a good deed.

The earth turns bright
and there is peace,
when you are around
warm feelings increase.

You are a peacemaker
with blessings of care,
It’s the spirit of love
that you have to share.

When you follow Jesus
the example is right,
you carry the beauty
of His calming light.

If life seems gloomy
don’t forget to pray.
You are special
in a beautiful way.

Lovely, how you pen bleeds so
    poignantly reaching my heart with
your sadness of your concerto so
    beautifully expressed.. sending love
    your way. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Helen Hunt Jackson

The month of carnival of all the year,
When Nature lets the wild earth go its way,
And spend whole seasons on a single day.
The spring-time holds her white and purple dear;
