The Hollow Boy Is Feeling Lost Poem by Audrey Stephenson

The Hollow Boy Is Feeling Lost

Saturday, the lonely day
When friends become the thoughts in your head
Just take a turn up ahead
Its just another way home
And If you end up alone
You gotta know its ok
And when you don’t wanna stay
Its just another call home

But when your life scatters like a cigarette in the breathe of the wind
Go find a place to begin.

Saturday, the solace day
When your last thought’s escaped
Take a turn at the gate
Its just another way home
And you should broaded your horizons
Open up so you can finally see
This peripheral beauty
And what your thoughts really mean

But when your life becomes to lonely to bare
Just contrast and compare
Because you shouldn’t be scared

And in a catalogue of everything you’ve ever made
Just wanna throw it away
Because you think it’s a waste

Well its not

And when your life finally starts to fall into place
You know its not a mistake
You’ve finally found your way home
