The Homing Instincts Poem by Stalina Bhai

The Homing Instincts

Rating: 4.5

In the lush little isle
Dew drops fall on hot rocks
Dart, hidden pain shivers in
Deep night drizzles

The green fingers
Violate the frontiers
The lightning moments
Reveal the secrets,
My green eyes glows; -
With lust for your love
Which awaits me...

My dear magical island
You don't reveal
The secrets of loneliness
To everyone
Even if they are alone

Your doors become visible
Only when the sorrows
Melt away as if
They never exist

In you; my soul
-sings the mystic music
To fill the hearts of ancient spirits
-spreads its wings;
To an unknown blue sky...

To you; I come back
My dearest, secret forest;
However long I have been taken away
I come back to you
Burning the barriers
Breaking the borders
Both in space and time...

I beat the
desert winds
I resist the
Saline hands
For your embrace, I return
Every time I am hurt
As you are the one
Who really makes me
Invincible
I am inseparable
I belong to you...

You and me -
We; were here
From eons
My roots were
entangled in your soil
From ages
My shoots were
singing for you
From that moment
Of perfect silence
You and me;
Are... in Love......
