The Hope Of May Day Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

The Hope Of May Day

Year after year to the past
Memory lengthens
Power of Peoples march to the day
The road shortens

Behind the revolution
Each other crawls
For a big hope
The clouds darkens
Invisible desire of wind
The rain is parted
Shading out the darkness
