The Inner Reality Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

The Inner Reality

I remember a man;
Simple, polite and cheerful
Though scantily clad
He looked very neat and clean and cool
Leaning on a stick
He walked slowly but cheerfully

Throughout his life
He was exploring the meaning of life
Focusing on who am I for good
Got moksha(liberation) and God he realized
Invoked thoughtless state of the mind

And knowledge of the self, meditation,
Self enquiry and devotion to God,
Inspired his inner reality
More silent he was going
Much deeper he was exploring inside
And there encountering self every time

Inspired with his inner sense
Paul Brunton through his work Inner Reality
Brought the saint to light for humanity
And inspired with his greatness of spirituality
Born great novel The Razor’s Edge
As Somerset Maugham’ creativity
And it was filmed twice in Hollywood with dignity

Such is the greatness of the Holy man
Raman Maharshi as we know Him a perfect God-man
And that forever he lives in our heart
For inner reality as his glorified mission carries on well.....
