The Innocent Child Poem by Rustic Poet

The Innocent Child

Rating: 5.0

The child is so innocent looking into space,
She is the picture so full of grace.

She has short blonde curly hair,
Her face is serene, her skin is fair.

Her little gown is pure white,
She's like an angel, what a sight.

Behind her is an angelic light shining,
You will never hear her whining.

So pure is her heart,
This child will never part.

She has become an angel now,
To you, she made a vow.

Where ever she may be,
She will appear for you to see.

She was an innocent child,
She never grew up to be wild.

Her childhood was taken away,
In her short life, she didn't stray.
