The Invisibility Cloak Poem by Wenjun Liu

The Invisibility Cloak

Rating: 5.0

Dyed the hues of a fading wind
With the feels of a soft wink
It touched the calmest creek
And stole the song from waterside reed.

It overheard the murmurings of a snoring June
And captured a hopper in its an unknown tune
caught the stirs of a dreaming moon
And glimpsed at the faintest star with a delight quieter than an unread rune.

Until clouds shifted and moon turned to her right
Behind the musk rosebush
Heard the lovers' sighs.
And it witnessed the single teardrop slipping from down those then transparent eyes.
